11oz Organic Cotton Stretch Denim "Jimmy" Jacket - BLACK

STRUM JEANS

Straight yarn of organic cotton from Turkey is used.

The use of 2% polyurethane provides sufficient stretchability, and even with the tight silhouette, we have achieved a non-stressful fit.

The warp is dyed 4 times in BK using a rope dyeing process, resulting in a deep blue BK color. The weft is dyed with deep BK by cheese dyeing, which is a sulfide dye that dyes the yarn down to the core, to maintain the beautiful BK color, but also to give it a vintage look when worn hard or for a long time.

For the sewing threads, core threads are used to achieve the texture of old models. By using 100% polyester high-strength filaments as the core (core) and wrapping the surface with 100% Supima cotton wadding, this yarn has both the strength and the goodness of cotton yarns, which become tastier as they are worn in.

This is STRUM JEANS' first denim jacket, filled with attention to detail down to the fabric, stitches and threads, which give it a vintage-like color fading and ageing effect without looking like a stretch denim.

Jimmy is STRUM JEANS' first denim jacket with a vintage-like faded color that doesn't look like stretch denim and is full of attention to detail down to the stitches and threads.

The silhouette of the denim vest introduced in the 2023 S/S has been reconstructed and evolved into STRUM's first denim jacket, the Jimmy.

It is slightly oversized, but still in a size that can be worn with a mature look.

Taking the historical 2nd type G-jacket as the design source, the front yoke, which is usually sewn on top of the body, is sewn on the back side to make it higher on the body.

Both breast pockets are placed on the reverse side as inside pockets, and stitches are placed on the front side to accentuate the pockets.

Pockets are placed on both sides of the front.

The right pocket is accented with German silver parts designed in the motif of JOE STRUMMER's favorite Telecaster type pick guard.

The back has wide pleats starting from the bottom of the yoke, with different pleat widths at the top and bottom to create a silhouette that gently cinches in toward the hem. The stitching holding the pleats in place also accentuates the back style.

Various details have been incorporated in various places, and the contrast between the black denim and white stitching and metal parts gives this denim jacket a sophisticated, adult atmosphere.
