CREATION
Burning dyed
-burning leather jacket
After sewing the jacket to the finished product in its base state, the jacket is dyed by burning it.
Alcohol and dye are mixed and ignited.
After the alcohol is ignited, the dye is ignited and the reaction causes the dye to change color.
The burning process produces a unique uneven texture.
The fire is extinguished before the fire transfers to the leather, allowing the dye to set.
The burnt dye is fixed, and the unique shade and irregularity create an expression and
feature an elegant and colorful atmosphere that is not found in product dyeing.
Full tannin pit tanning
Shrunk Horsehide
Full tannin pit tanning using only horsehide with many scratches.
After pit tanning, the leather is dyed on a tyco (drum).
The tyco is then turned while further heat is applied.
By shrinking the leather to half its normal size (approx. 2m→1m),
the natural graininess is accentuated (shrink).
By this process, "scratches" which are living proof of horsehide
and "grain" by shrinking are fused, and a rugged and impactful expression different from product dyeing
is born.

Shrunken steerhide
A leather that is worth growing up with its extreme graininess and impacted look.
This leather is characterized by its fiber-filled luster and bony look.
The leather is made by soaking North American cowhide raw hides in a pit tank in Japan for as long as three months
and then fully tanned.
The leather is pit-tanned, and has a strong fiber luster and bony look.
By shrinking the leather to half its normal size,
the grain is brought out to the limit, giving the leather an impactful look.
Suede Series
Suede with a well-crafted surface is called "silky".
The shorter the hair and finer the texture, the higher the quality.
All "STRUM" suede leathers are finished based on
"silky".
We are particular about the beauty of the material and the finesse of our craftsmanship.
The leather is hand-tanned, dyed, and carefully papered.
Please enjoy STRUM's leather jackets using "calf suede", "sheep suede"
, and "suede horsehide"
, which are finished with a tasteful expression by making the most of bloodstains and unique fur.
Organic Cotton Denim
Organic cotton refers to cotton that has been grown in accordance with standards for production methods
on farmland recognized by certification organizations after at least two to three years of production
and that adheres to strict standards for pesticides and fertilizers used in its cultivation
Because denim pants are worn frequently and come into direct contact with the skin
, we have decided to select high quality denim that has passed strict standards.
STRUM has been using carefully selected organic cotton denim from various countries since 2021 S/S.
Tight straight and skinny as standard
Cropped and wide straight as collection line are developed.
