The footage captures processes not visible in the finished garment, such as cutting—where the specific placement of leather sections is determined by carefully assessing the unique scratches and grain of each hide—and "skiving," the process of adjusting leather thickness to suit the area being sewn.
Furthermore, rather than simply adhering to STRUM’s established image, this LOOK feature documents the entire process—from initial meetings to the actual shoot—of how the theme of “STILL LIFE” is expressed through photography.
The process extending beyond the mere creation of garments to their expression as a cohesive collection—encompassing the underlying concepts and narratives.
