Full vegetable tannin leather finished by the traditional vachetta method
This double shoulder leather is full vegetable tanned at tannery "Conceria 800 (Conceria Ottocento)" in Tuscany, Italy.
This expensive leather is made by a traditional tannery that spends a lot of time and effort to finish it, and is used for STRUM's high-end models, which are positioned at the top end of the line.
The leather is pit-tanned with vegetable tannin using the traditional Tuscan bucketta method, and then slowly greased with neatsfoot oil to give it a firm yet smooth, absorbent feel.
Because it is dyed brown-core leather, the color of the core appears with repeated wear, allowing the leather to enjoy a rich change over time.
The leather has a smooth appearance while having a grain, and the high quality finish stands out.
For the raw hides, we use cowhide from the Alpine region, where the environment is well prepared for stress-free growth.
The leather is tanned using a combination of three types of vegetable tannins: quebracho, mimosa, and chestnut, according to its use and color, and is produced by a tannery that combines tradition, innovation, and environmental friendliness.
LEATHER MODEL ID : JOEY
STRUM's first American-style jacket model, JOEY, is based on US-type details and stylishly finished.
Compared to "ROM" which has a waist silhouette, "JOEY" has a stooping silhouette.
The back part is a luxurious one-piece specification, and the arms of JOEY are not gusseted but action pleated to increase the range of motion.

The zipper uses a zip made by Raccagni of Italy. The smooth opening and closing of the zipper and its excellent durability are the result of the exquisite workmanship of Raccagni, a company that has been producing high-quality zips for many years.
The metal parts, which add an elegant shine to the ruggedness, combine with the texture of the leather to enhance the level of perfection down to the smallest detail.
