STRUM's signature boot, the rider's boot "TRASH," has finally been released for the first time in three years.
This time we will be introducing the full tanned, pit tanned, shrink horsehide riders boots "TRASH" .
①Characteristics of the leather : We deliberately use horse leather with many scratches, and by shrinking it, the natural grain is accentuated.
Taking advantage of the characteristics of horse leather that is prone to scratches, we only use horse leather that is particularly prone to scratches.
- Pit tanning : A tanning method that takes a long time using a huge bath-like facility called a pit filled with tannins .
- By soaking the leather in tannin for a long period of time, the leather becomes strong and durable while retaining its natural texture.
-Shrink : After pit tanning, the leather is dyed and then heated to shrink it to half its normal size (from about 2m to 1m), bringing out the natural grain.
This process allows the scratches in the horsehide leather and the wrinkles caused by the shrink to blend together, giving it a rugged, masculine look that is different to product dyeing.
②Model Features : The TRASH has a thin toe, a long nose, and a silhouette that rises up from the shaft.
When the zipper is opened and folded back, it becomes like a double rider jacket, and the opening is wider so that you can tuck thicker bottoms into your boots.
"TRASH" is a genuine boot that uses the Goodyear welt method, so you can replace the sole and wear it for many years.
The sole is also made with Vibram and is very light, so even though they are boots, they feel like sneakers and are a great item to wear daily.
③ Coordination: Coordinate with the same shrink horsehide leather jacket and "TRASH"
If you want to exude a sophisticated adult look, we recommend styling with black gradients.
