STRUM staff member TOSHIYA showcases a week's worth of realistic outfits, primarily featuring leather.
Introducing seven styles that mix various tastes, including vintage, remake, street, and mode.
"Fashion is something to be enjoyed more freely"—be sure to check out this outfit, which is packed with TOSHIYA's beliefs.
The first outfit is a grunge-inspired style featuring STRUM's "SPEEDER" as the centerpiece.I'm wearing a size S, tight-fitting rider's jacket with a SAINT MXXXXXX (Saint Michael) T-shirt.

This piece is a reconstruction of a vintage EMINEM T-shirt, and TOSHIYA himself, who owned an EMINEM T-shirt at the time, bought it, saying, "I definitely want this." Having experienced EMINEM's heyday in real-time during his stay in America around 2000, his strong influence from hip-hop culture is also clearly reflected in his style.
The bottoms are BOWWOW sweatpants, and the footwear is VIBERG suede short engineer boots. The boots, which were originally jet black, have been waxed and given a whitish finish by the owner.
While the overall look is coordinated in black and gray, a plaid shirt is tied around the waist.Add an accent with a leopard print newsboy cap.
"Because there's so much black, I add a touch of flashiness somewhere"—this styling truly shines with TOSHIYA's unique sensibility.

The second outfit features the beige calf suede rider's vest "RENTON" as the centerpiece.
The inner layer is STRUM's "OVER DRIVE" jumpsuit, and by intentionally adding a black shirt underneath, we've created a sophisticated, modern balance that isn't overly casual.

Wearing a shirt under a jumpsuit is a fresh idea for STRUM. Because the OVER DRIVE has a wide-open neckline, it can be paired well with a wide range of shirts, from dress shirts to casual shirts.
For outerwear, a boa coat from roarguns was chosen, and for footwear, python-embossed boots from ATTACHMENT were selected. The well-worn texture of the boots further accentuates the overall dark mood.
The finishing touch is a deep-silhouette bucket hat from beauty:beast.
This outfit, where mystery and playfulness coexist, also featured a characteristic TOSHIYA remark: "I'm shy, so I want to hide my face (laughs)."

The third outfit is a colorful style that completely changes the atmosphere from the previous ones. For the leather, we're wearing the Burning Dyed "SPEEDER" - STONE PURPLE. As you wear it, the lighter parts will deepen and change, making it a piece where you can enjoy the aging of the color.

The inner layer is a pink and gray striped knit with distressed details from kiryuyrik. The impactful color scheme, while not overly flashy, strikes an exquisite balance that is characteristic of TOSHIYA.
For the bottoms, I wore a pair of denim pants that I remade myself. I started with a pair of vintage denim pants, adjusted them to a flare silhouette, and then painted floral patterns and various other motifs on them with Posca markers.
The inspiration came from watching an American artist do live painting. Seeing them test the colors of the Posca markers on their own pants before starting the work, they were so impressed, thinking "it's so cool," that they decided to make their own painted denim.
For footwear, we have the MIHARA YASUHIRO "BLAKEY," which features a voluminous sole.
The cap is also a homemade, remade version, with small pieces of fabric sewn on.
This outfit is a perfect expression of TOSHIYA's style, with a natural blend of grunge, street, and DIY culture.
171 cm / 59 kg
The fourth outfit is a style for a day when you "wanted to go dark." For the leather, we're wearing the Burning dyed "SIXX" - IRON RUST. The unique color, reminiscent of iron rust, naturally brings out a dark mood.

The inner layer is a distressed knit from KAMIYA. The natural distressed look, created by adding more snags to the original holes, gives it a more characterful appearance. Layered underneath is a remade T-shirt that I distressed myself.
The denim is from Rick Owens's other line, "DRKSHDW." Its appeal lies in the street and earthy vibe, which is different from the main line's high-fashion feel. For footwear, I'm wearing my well-worn BACKLASH engineer boots.
"I like dull colors," says TOSHIYA.
It's also characteristic of his style to naturally incorporate a "crumbling beauty," such as a slightly grimy atmosphere, signs of aging, and damage, without over-tidying.
171 cm / 59 kg
The fifth outfit features the Burning Dyed "LIST" - DEEP RUBY as the centerpiece. This rider's jacket has a striking red color that gives it a powerful presence.

For the inner layer, a long hooded shirt from roarguns is layered.
"I like pairing a rider's jacket with a long-length item," says TOSHIYA, who enjoys the freedom of an unconventional balance by boldly showing off the hem.
The T-shirt is a Slipknot band tee that TOSHIYA bought at a live venue in America. As a teenager at the time, TOSHIYA experienced the live show in the local mosh pit, almost suffocating from lack of oxygen. He says he still vividly remembers the shocking performance, which included the percussionist throwing chicken.
The pants are Yohji Yamamoto "BLACK Scandal" double-knee pants, and the boots are STRUM shrink horse WAX-finished rider's boots.
I paired it with a Roarguns headband, adjusting it so that my forehead wouldn't be visible when I wore the hood.
This outfit, with its "I want to hide even my eyes" vibe, is characteristic of TOSHIYA and creates a unique atmosphere.
171 cm / 59 kg
The sixth outfit is a styling that TOSHIYA himself describes as "the most beautiful, if I do say so myself." For the leather, he is wearing the oil calf "RAVEN" from STRUM, the first piece he ever purchased from the brand.

On top of thatThey are wearing a cut-and-sew coat by beauty:beast, with a 3.PARADIS T-shirt underneath. This Canadian brand, now based in France, caught their attention not only for its products but also for the personalities of the designers they met through work, and they continue to be a loyal fan. The dove print peeking out from the neckline adds a subtle accent.
The pants are Maison Margiela denim. The exquisite silhouette, not too tight, combines comfort and elegance. The incarnation all-leather sole boots further enhance the sophisticated atmosphere.
Pair it with a knit hat for a slightly more relaxed look.
This outfit showcases TOSHIYA's signature sense of balance, where the casualness of a knit cap breaks up the formality of a hat.
171 cm / 59 kg
The seventh and final outfit features the Burning Dyed "SPEEDER" - STONE PURPLE as the centerpiece once again. For the inner layer, I've paired it with a collaboration T-shirt between my favorite band, Korn, and adidas.

TOSHIYA's love for adidas also started with Korn. He says that his admiration for the brand grew through their music, such as the vocalist appearing in a tracksuit and the existence of the song "ADIDAS."
The bottoms are denim pants that he has repeatedly remade himself. He cut the full-length hems and added gussets of a different fabric to create a wider silhouette. Furthermore, he has sewn on small pieces of STRUM's leather scraps, saying, "Eventually, I want to cover them completely with leather and turn them into leather pants."
Sneakers areHe is wearing the MIHARA YASUHIRO "BLAKEY," which is based on a design reminiscent of adidas. He paired it with a beige 6-panel cap from MADNESS, linking it to the STONE PURPLE color.
From the T-shirt print to the brown leather parts on the right foot, this outfit is packed with TOSHIYA's characteristic playfulness and craftsmanship, with even the smallest color details carefully calculated.
171 cm / 59 kg
Looking back at the seven days of outfits, the abundance of remade items stands out. Painted denim, patchwork caps, pants with leather scraps glued on—TOSHIYA's style isn't about wearing ready-made clothes as they are, but about cultivating "one-of-a-kind pieces" with his own hands.
He loves the changes that come with age and damage, is drawn to muted colors, and incorporates memories of music and culture into his fashion. Even though his styling might seem quirky at first glance, it's naturally filled with TOSHIYA's own "likes."
"Fashion should be enjoyed more freely." This message is conveyed through all seven of the outfits.
