The new "M.JOEY" is based on STRUM's classic "JOEY" double rider's jacket but features a simpler design achieved by omitting the epaulettes.
This time, I am wearing "Nightfall Black," a new color in the Burning Dyed "Core Fade" series.
It is characterized by the rich texture of Italian shrunk double-shoulder leather and a unique aging process in which brown emerges from beneath the black.
In this feature, we will present an autumn styling combination of bonded knitwear and denim, while also providing a detailed look at the differences from the original JOEY model and the design details incorporated throughout.
By omitting the epaulets found on the JOEY, the shoulder area takes on a cleaner, more streamlined look. At the same time, the action pleats on the back have been retained, ensuring ease of arm movement.

Like the JOEY model, this design omits the waistband but retains the front belt loops as a stylistic element. There are no loops on the back; instead, a panel seam at the waist serves as a design accent.

The leather used is Italian shrunk double-shoulder leather. Characterized by deep grain and wrinkles on the surface, it is a material that offers unique textures depending on the specific part of the hide.
The back, in particular, displays the bold, distinctive wrinkles characteristic of "double shoulder" leather, commanding a strong presence despite the simple design.
The color is NIGHTFALL BLACK from the Burning Dyed "Core Fade" series.
The leather is drum-dyed brown (dyed through to the core) and crafted into a jacket, after which it undergoes the black "Burning Dyed" process.
As you wear it, the black surface changes and the underlying brown gradually emerges, allowing you to enjoy a unique aging process where the black and brown blend together.
In addition to the leather's natural grain and wrinkles, the way the color evolves with wear is a major appeal of this model.

For the inner layer, a three-layer double-knit crewneck sweatshirt is worn; its three-layer structure creates an air pocket that ensures heat retention.
By pairing it with a sweatshirt of just the right thickness, the outfit handles autumn temperatures while keeping the look simple and letting the rider's jacket take center stage.
For the bottoms, I selected the "TIGHT JOE," characterized by its slim silhouette. Combining the faded indigo denim with the soft hue of "GRAIGE" accentuates the dark tones of the "NIGHTFALL BLACK."
