STRUM's "HIGH THROTTLE" sling bag.
This model features a design that pairs perfectly with a rider's jacket, while also offering greater storage capacity and ease of use than its appearance suggests.
Sales have begun—both online and in-store—for the "Burning Dyed" GRAPHITE GRAY model, which was released early last week at Leathers Day TOKYO 2026.
You can currently choose from two types of leather, including the model made with full-tannin, pit-tanned, shrunk horsehide.
In this article, we will introduce the functional details of "HIGH THROTTLE" and provide a detailed explanation of the unique characteristics of each type of leather.
"HIGH THROTTLE" features a form that contours to the body.
The main compartment is sized to hold a 500ml plastic bottle, as well as everyday essentials like a wallet and smartphone.
Additionally, there is a zippered pocket on the front. Features designed with everyday use in mind—such as the ability to separately store frequently used small items—are a welcome touch.

A magnetic buckle from FIDLOCK is used at the center of the shoulder strap.
It can be easily detached by pulling the cord on the buckle, and securely fastened with a smooth motion simply by bringing the buckle parts together.
It features a practical design that allows for easy putting on and taking off—even while wearing items like a rider's jacket or a hat—without needing to slip the bag over your head.
By shortening the belt, it can also be worn as a waist bag. You can enjoy two different ways of using it, depending on your style or needs.

Currently, "HIGH THROTTLE" is available in two versions: the limited-edition Burning Dyed "Mono Fade" GRAPHITE GRAY, and a model featuring the standard full-tannin, pit-tanned, and shrunk horsehide.
For the standard shrink horsehide model, securing the base leather has become difficult due to the recent shortage of raw hides, resulting in a lead time of approximately one year for the leather to arrive.
We currently have stock of both the limited-quantity GRAPHITE GRAY model and the shrunk horsehide version—which typically takes a long time to restock—allowing you to compare the unique character and texture of each leather before making your choice.

The "Graphite Gray" model in the Burning Dyed series is crafted from Japanese bend leather that is first dyed gray, then subjected to a "burning product dye" process in black after the item is fully assembled. It is characterized by a unique blend of black and gray tones, as well as an aging process where the underlying gray color gradually emerges through use.
Shrunk horsehide, on the other hand, is characterized by the grain and wrinkles that appear on the leather's surface. You can enjoy the unique texture of horsehide and its distinctive, three-dimensional character.

"HIGH THROTTLE" combines ample storage capacity and ease of use, despite its compact size.
You can currently choose from two different types of leather: the limited-edition Burning Dyed model and the classic shrunk horsehide.
We invite you to visit the store, hold the items in your hands, and experience the texture and usability of each type of leather for yourself.
