Authentic engineer boots made without compromise in leather, sewing, and specifications
The wooden pattern has an authentic and classic silhouette with more volume at the vamp (toe) than STRUM's conventional boots. The sole is Vibram #4014.

Sewing is, of course, by the gut-ear welt method, which is highly durable and water-resistant.
By piling up two pieces of full tannin leather, one on the sole lift and one more on the heel side, and sewing them together with the welt, the heel height is 4.2 cm, giving the shoe a stately appearance.

While many boots are sewn with synthetic rubber stacked on the welt, we have created an uncompromisingly authentic engineer's bootusing luxurious full tan leather.
Size: The length is the same as conventional STRUM boots, but the instep is slightly higher.

The MATILDA has a narrower shaft for wearing pants in and out, and is equipped with a back zip to eliminate the hassle of putting on and taking off pants.
The Goodyear welt manufacturing method makes it possible to replace the sole multiple times, and the short length makes it easy to handle. It is a short boot that has both toughness and high quality, with attention paid to design, compatibility with pants, ease of wear, and maintainability.

The leather is made from TEMPESTIBENZ, a tannery in Tuscany, Italy.
The raw hides are made from the most densely fibered and smooth benz part of adult Scandinavian cattle, and in the greasing process, 1.5 to 2 times more oil is added than usual, making the leather moist and resilient.
The leather is not pigmented, but only dyed to bring out its natural look, and the more it is used, the deeper and shinier it becomes.
The leather is 100% vegetable tanned, dyed and cored, made by the traditional bucketta method, and is smooth leather with a good amount of oil.
The sole is Vibram #4014 and the back zip is made of highly durable YKK Excela.
