Leather jackets that have experienced combustion.
Made of tannin-tanned leather in Japan from raw calf leathers of local raw calfskin.
The amount of tannin has been slightly increased to emphasize the bony look with a newly created base layer.
It is characterized by the tiger pattern and the fine texture that only calf can have.
After sewing to finished product in a primed state, the product is dyed while being burned.
Alcohol and dye are mixed, sprayed, and ignited.
Burning Dyed - Burning leather jacket
After the alcohol is ignited, the fire spreads to the dye and the reaction causes the dye to change color and burn, resulting in a unique, uneven texture.
The fire is extinguished before it moves to the leather, allowing the dye to set.
The burnt dye is fixed, and the unique shading and unevenness create an expression, which is characterized by an elegant and colorful atmosphere that is not found in product dyeing.
