This leather is made from Hokkaido's Ezo-Deer, with an emphasis on the rough and bony look.

The leather is white-tanned and dyed black from Hokkaido's Ezo-deer, which are wasted due to pest control and hunting.

The leather is not finished in the same way as the fluffy deerskin that is distributed in the market, but rather, it is finished with a rough and bony look that is typical of Ezo deers.

The hem is made of suede with a rough look, with the nibs remaining on the suede side.

Ezo sika deer inhabiting Hokkaido were on the verge of extinction in the early Meiji period (1868-1912), but due to generous protection and the extinction of wolves, they have been reproducing in large numbers in recent years. Due to damage to agriculture, forestry, and fisheries products, deer are exterminated outside of the hunting season, and their meat and skins are wasted, discarded, and left behind.
Lack of means to transport their massive 100+ kilogram bodies and lack of facilities to recycle them as meat and leather means that they are not being reused.
Although the leather is expensive due to the small number and time-consuming process, we used Ezo-deer this time in an ecological attempt to avoid wasting their lives and to promote their reuse.
Because it is a wild deer, it has many scars and each piece has a different expression. Please enjoy it as the original expression of the leather.

LEATHER MODEL ID : BONO

The BONO is a full-fledged tailored jacket with a gentle A-line shape without over-districting the waist.


The silhouette is exquisite, neither too thin nor too loose.

The hem is cut back using a rough suede surface with no backing treatment and with nibs remaining for accentuation, and is made in a genuine tailored style.

The sleeve lining is made of poly material for ease of sleeve threading, and the body lining is made of high quality "Swiss cotton" normally used for the outer material for durability.

Buttons are made of buffalo buttons.
