Collection: How to remove stains from a leather jacket / How to remove rain stains

Even if you wear your leather jacket with care, there may be times when it is suddenly rained on, a drink is spilled, or a stain is left on the jacket.

This time, we will explain how to remove stains from STRUM's leather jacket using STRUM's signature product, "Burning dyed".

About rain stains

When the stain is immediately after it has been stained by rain

If the rain stain is immediately attached, it can be easily blended by wetting the area around the stain and blending it with a sponge.

If you wet only the stained area, the area will become stained again, so the key is to blend the stain by blending the entire part. (The color of the leather jacket will be slightly darkened by blending.)

Let it dry for about 30 minutes and it will blend in and the stain will disappear.

If the rain stain has been on the jacket for a long time

If a rain stain has been on the jacket for a long time or a food stain has been on the jacket for a long time, it is difficult to remove the stain by simply blotting it with water.

How to use M.MOWBRAY "Saddle Soap

This saddle soap is used to remove stains from STRUM Burning dyed.

Please see the image before washing. As you can see, there is a large line of stain, which cannot be removed even by wiping with water.

1) Remove dust from the leather jacket.

Dust and fine stains are often attached to the surface, so first brush it with a clean brush to remove the attached stains.

②Wet the entire jacket with water

It takes courage to wet a leather jacket, but Burning dyed leather can be wetted to the extent of a photograph. The color may become darker, so the key is to acclimate it to the whole surface. We recommend that you test it in an inconspicuous place first before wetting it.

(3) Lather and wash the saddle soap

Moisten a sponge with water, put it on the saddle soap, and rub it to make foam. Once foamy, wash the saddle soap in a circular motion to blend it in. (Burning dyed leather is unrefined, so there is a possibility of slight color migration.)

Wipe with a clean towel.

(Burning dyed leather is unrefined, so there is a possibility of slight color migration) ④ Wipe off with a clean towel. After wiping off the foam, let it dry naturally for about 30 minutes to complete the care.

As you can see, the stain that could not be removed by wiping with water is now cleanly gone.

We hope this will be helpful to you.
